While both of the above photos are technically headshots, knowing the end use case for a headshot is important, and should be a matter of discussion between you and your photographer. Whether the photo will be used for a LinkedIn profile, an actors portfolio, a models comp card, or a Facebook profile, will greatly influence the type of photograph or headshot needed.
Awkward?
Do you struggle in front of the camera? Getting in front of the camera can be a challenge, especially for headshots because there are no props or environmental elements to interact with.
